Memories

by GretaInsideOut   Sep 20, 2006

Can you remember,
What we used to have?
The sweet little memories,
Lying in my head.

Iâ??ll never forget the times,
We held each other dear.
Those times I will remember,
Until my mind is cleared.

You feel so far away now,
So distant and so sparse.
I reach out for your hand,
With fear of youâ??re rejection,
Something never felt before.

You twist and turn in my mind,
Feeling all desire burn,
I find no remorse,
From the thoughts that plague my head.

I know I miss you, boy,
I know I will forever,
I know Iâ??ll pray and pray.

Some days I sit and think,
Some days I sit and ponder,
One day maybe weâ??ll be one,
But for now,
Iâ??ll just hold on to my memories,
Swimming in my head.
