Man's Agenda

by Whitey   Sep 20, 2006

It was all just a futile game,
Like cat and mouse these humans played.

Among the green and brown I gazed,
and mused about this demise plague.
Cunning foxes they skulked aside me,
clever not they underrated the enemy,
BANG! I jumped and landed upon the ground,
displeased I posed a scornful frown,
To my side lain my feign dressed friend,
startled and still and lifeless his body preached,
“What had happened?” his eyes seem to speak.
He had fine-tuned his uniform and so as to me,
for his blood had fashioned me in red.

What woke me from my inanimate sleep?
but the stealthy silence of disturbed peace.
I shuddered at each raucous fire,
I trembled under every murder.

Incessant are these wars replayed,
Senseless are these actions portrayed,
Why does man bring the end,
when God has brought the beginning?
Why does man destroy peace,
when they are so near heaven?

Has man sinned so ignorantly,
that God had awoken me so mockingly?
