The Essence of Love

To see a love made by the stars
And blessed by the moon above
Is such a sweet reflected art
And what we've been dreaming of.

To hold that love within our grasp
And feel it's warm embrace
Is so much more than we can ask
When trust is gently placed.

Two beating hearts that unfold
And merge like they are one
Is the essence of our soul
That shows us what has just begun.
.
So when you look upon the moon
And see the magic there
Remember that the love you feel
Is one that we both share.

    I do like this poem, but reading so much of your poetry, I noticed you compare love to the stars and moon in nearly every poem, and just as a suggestion, mabye you could try broadening out to try comparing it to new things. Don't get me wrong, you do it beautifully, but as a poet, and such a good one you are, I think you should try a new take on it!
