Art of Love

*Poem/lyric style. You're see what I mean* Free-styled
----------------------------------------
Sitting in the park
With my eyes closed shut
Dreaming of the mystery
What true love was about

Seeking identity
Behind the face of Love
Miniature wishes
Sealed in my heart

Petals fall down to greet me
[Melodies play to find me]

If only love could connect
One soul to another's heart
Bind them in, deep and tight
A place they both have sought

Picture-perfect portraits
Hanged upon the walls
Displays of lasting affection
Entwined inside each core

Mellow scents lingering
[Twas love who weaved the spell]

Generations after years
Surviving like a flower
Painted smug into a portrait
It's name was Art of Love

*Trying something new..not my best I'll admit

Beautiful poem! I loved the new style, trying something new is always good. Perfect portrayal, and good imagery. Your words spoke to me so well, especially by these two couplets. I was stunned:

Petals fall down to greet me
    [Melodies play to find me]

    Mellow scents lingering
[Twas love who weaved the spell]

    Once again, unbelievably amazing.

    I like this line

    If only love could connect
    One soul to another's heart
Bind them in, deep and tight
A place they both have sought

great for me keep it up
    god bless!4/9

    Hanged upon the walls
((I swear this should be 'hung'. I know everyone says it should be 'hanged', but does it not sound wrong to you as well?))

But, I really liked this. Not my favorite, I'll be honest. I'll also be honest in saying I did not like the new format. However, as always, it is an amazing write filled with much description, which I love. Thus, great job. Keep it up. =]
