What do you do when the person you lived for is dead?
Maybe now you should put that gun to your head.
What do you do when you can't stop the tears?
Maybe they would stop if you got rid of your fears.

What do you do when you want to give up and die?
Maybe instead you should just cry and cry.
What do you do when you hate your life?
Maybe you should suck it up and be glad your alive.

How do you know when to smile?
Possibly when you realize your life is worth while.
How do you know when it's time to give up on love?
Possibly when you see that white dove fly above.

How do you know when to be sad?
Possibly when you find out you were abandoned by your dad.
How do you know when to be happy?
Possibly when you finally have a day that isn't crappy.

Once you reach a certain goal
You will no longer have to put your life on hold.
Once you see you are something great.
You will know your path in life is to go straight.

Stop thinking about if you should die.
They're people out there who actually have reasons to cry.
Stop thinking you are the worst person ever.
They're people out there who wish they had shelter.
