There is a place that only I know of,
To get away from the demands, trials, and tribulations of life,
Where a sense of pure ecstasy can be felt.
Its beauty goes far beyond anything I've ever experienced.
There's a sunset that glistens over a sea of deep blue,
A beach where I can feel each grain of sand caress my feet
As I wander across it in all it's splendor,
And where the water rushes up to greet me with anticipation.
The palm trees sway freely in the gentle breeze
As a zephyr of crisp fresh air fills me up inside.
I lie down and gaze into a perfectly clear night sky,
So the moon and stars can waltz across my skin.
The sound of waves crashing onto the shore
Put my thoughts at ease as I drift into dreams.
I can feel my mind, body, and soul fading away
Like I could live forever here.
This is where peace, tranquility, and love meet.
This place is my paradise.
