Last breath

by Unrequited   Sep 21, 2006

Punctured and rotten,
deflated and black.
ripped apart,
cold and unloved.
pieces of me,
in a graveyard of gray.
stars are crying,
my soul is dying.
masked feelings,
i am now forgotten.
exhausted and empty,
nothing left to give in this life.
drown in sorrows,
suffocated by hate.
knife in my arm,
a tear in my eye.
unrequited,
unaccepted love.
trying so hard,
i lost it all.
now i'm alone,
heart no longer breathing.

Oh the life of a poet.
You're really getting your groove back, but I'm sorry you have to be depressed to do so.
