A Love to Die For

She waits her whole life
To meet Mr Right
Struggling with love
She always has to fight

Fight her emotions
For her perfect guy
He doesn't even know her
And she wonders why

Why does he not notice
This beautiful girl
She would love him forever
And he would be her world

She only just wishes
That he shared her love
Maybe then she wouldn't
Have to gaze at him from above

Her love for him
Cut her up inside
She never could tell him
About her love she use to hide

No longer could she stand
Being no one to him
Her only way to deal with her feelings
Was cutting her own skin

Until one day
She cut too deep
He never realised his love
Until he began too weep

He always had loved her
Right from the start
Too scared to say anything
But she had his heart

Now she is gone
He feels no need for life
If only he told her
She wouldn't have used that knife
