Existing Love

There was once a time love was a myth,

It was never real, it didn't exist.

Until the day you came into my life,

You made me think more then twice.

I didn't have much and you knew I wasn't rich,

But made me believe that some day I'd have more then this.

So this is why today I'm still your woman,

Cos there's so many things you've made me understand.

Love is going back to the two of us with no-one there,

With the time we thought we'd have no-one to care.

But now I wake up and see your face,

And I realize your my heavens place.

In my secret place where I can be myself,

You act with me like no-one else.

Even though some circumstances have changed,

Our love will always remain the same.

You helped me cope with what I struggled to get through,

But deep down you really didn't have a clue.

So no matter what tomorrow brings,

We can face the most difficult things.

I can't believe quite what you do to me,

Every time I hear your voice it fills my heart with glee.

I always find my inspiration,

Hiding deep in your expressions.

So I sit writing this poem just for you,

And thinking of your heart of love thats true.

And I hope your love will always be for me,

Cos mines always for you and it comes free.
