I wish you were here with me
so i couldn't leave your sight
as i watch the rain, gently falling down
i wish youwere here with me
so i could hold you tight

i watch the computer and the phone
for a message just for me.
to say you will come back for me
when the morning lights

i wish you were here with me
so i couldn't leave your sight
as i watch the sun come out
i wish you were here with me,
so i colud hold you tight
and never let go of you.
