You're typical teenage girl

I believe in happy endings
Though they never quite come true
I wish on falling stars
And trust in only few

I've had my frail heart broken
And believed too many lies
I said I'd never love again
And I'd never listen to guys

I was always a little absent minded
& I've made the same mistakes twice
I always take back the things I say
And never listen to my own advice

I like writing notes & sappy quotes
And eating ice cream in bed
And I'd trade in everything practical
For something fluffy instead

My mood swings can get crazy
& I say things I don't mean
I'm a girl in a woman's body
No one said it's easy being eighteen

I like romantic walks and silly talks
And living for today
I always say the dumbest things
And I always get my way

I'm gullible yet I'm book smart
I spend money like it grows
But only on things I really need
Like makeup, vacations, and clothes

I'm you're typical average teenage girl
Who acts like she's five years old
Who has big dreams and is nothing like she seems
At least that's what I've been told

I'm different though, I'm one of a kind
I guess you'll just have to see
I dare you to find someone else in this world
Who is anything quite like me
