Since you have left
Our loving home

To give it a whirl
To make on your own
To be miss independent

All I can do
Is think and wonder
What you are doing

I pray to God
Every day and night
That he keeps you safe

I can only hope
That someday you
Will return

Because all I
Yearn for
Is one great big hug

    Yearning for a hug,I think we all do at some time ,a very sweet poem.I read all your others too and it's clear to tell your family are your life and you love them dearly ,I am sure things will work out alright with your daughter.No one ever said being a parent was easy!All your poems are very good ,keep on writing!
