Black Widow's Lament

by RainbowSlider   Sep 24, 2006

Should I love you this way?
Do I know that you will stay?
How long before you run, too?
It is better that I just kill you.

Will you stay till our kids mature?
Isn't running away your nature?
Will you leave me lonely and blue?
It is better that I just kill you.

Will you stay by my side forever?
Can you handle the bad weather?
Could you be faithful and true?
It is better that I just kill you.

Could you love me as your friend?
Would you stay with me till the end?
Could you give a wife her due?
It is better that I just kill you.

Would you love me and no other?
Do you understand I am a mother?
Would you not cheat as others do?
It is better that I just kill you.
