Laughable Lesion

by Taylor Porton   Mar 12, 2004

Do you want to stab at my heart
Watching closely as I bleed?
This pain, it hurts when we're apart
But the pain is like a need
Or a hunger I must feed
I'd rather starve

Cutting like a thousand knives
You laugh."Who cares?" you say.
But the pain, I fear to tell you
Is hurting worse today.

But you keep on laughing, and I fight
to free myself of you
Then soon, my worst fear has arrived
And I start laughing too

Nice job. Smile...? I really liked it ever though it was sad.. Sad poems are easier to relate to I think. Anyways, it's an acrostic because that's what that style poetry is called. I think? Full points on this one, and thanks for the comments.
