What I'm feeling

There's this feeling deep inside of me that I don't want to know.

It's a feeling of emptiness lonely and cold. It's in every inch of me and just will not go.

The lessons that I've learned ring painfully in my head with the emptiness inside of me it feels like I am dead.

You say your love for me will never end but if you truly loved me you would not be with him.

The things you use to say drown me in my sleep. Our memories of happiness hang me as I weep.

Your empty words fill my heart so complete. All I ask of you is take your dagger from my heart and lay beside me. Lay beside me.

I held you in my arms before why couldn't you just let it be? You let go of our love, my happiness and me.
