Nat this wasn't a terrible poem. I would suggest taking out the her to keep it flowing good because the her just seems to cheapen the effect and your poetry is too good for that.

Wow Nat, that was awesome. There was so much intensity in that poem, as well as mixed emotions. You seem to be enjoying this style of poetry.
