The World Through The Eyes Of The Delusional

by manic moments   Sep 24, 2006

My arms in chains
Hanging by my side
I am what there wasn't
Another stopped suicide

Bring the mirth forward
Spit into the valve that once was
Introduce a moment
That earned no pause

Speak a rhythm so foreign
I wonder a day away
I seek a name from a stack
And search away the day

Hold out my arm
And grasp what I say
I turn this way then that
And through away the pieces in disarray

Puckered are my lips
In the dark night
Silent are the moths
That glide towards the light

Hollow are my eyes
As I seek your forgiveness one last time
I wonder what I want to say
As I stand before my last crime

I hear a word in the night
Play over and over in my mind
I see the word in the day
And try so hard the place to find

I sit in the desert
And burn my flesh that was left
Hurried movements on the horizon
A memory gone, theft

Tribute to a disease
Killing hundreds in they're sleep
I wish that the blood pool
Didn't feel as deep

I hit the side of my body
Against a stone that is there
I hit myself harder
And think of what is fair

I hear a noise in my ear
Buzzing against myself is locus
The famine of bugs spreads further
With the magical words 'hocus pocus'

Hired beings of nothing
Dedicated to make a right
To see the things no one else's sees
A shotting star in the night
