Loneliness

I'm writing this poem to tell you,

About the things inside me that you do.

I'm only human and sometimes I make mistakes,

To get you to forgive me I'm gonna all it takes.

Now I know to hurt you was wrong,

And I've realized it was to you I belong.

I need you like I've never done before,

I want your heart to open like a door.

Don't leave me alone, dont turn out the light,

I want you and I need you tonight.

In the dark when noone else is around,

I still pray that our love will be found.

Since you've been gone everything seems wrong,

So why have we been apart for this long.

I've lost so much more then pride,

But I just take it away and hide it inside.

I miss you more then words can say,

And I wish there was a better way.

That we could be together again,

To take away this lonely pain.
