Shattered Dreams

I rest my eyes at night to sleep,

Then all my problems seem so deep,
How is that when your in love

You always feel so above.

But then everything seems to go wrong.

And the way below seems so long,

We were in love we felt so high,

But now it's time to say goodbye.

My dreams were shattered just like glass,

How could this happen so fast.

I've loved and lost,

My heart being the cost.

Now I'm alone on this cold lonely night,

I wish you were here to hold me tight.
