As I stand in a sea of tranquility,
and I now, look all around,
the Glory of God and His unwavering Love,
I know that I have found!
Through His all-knowing guidance
He's put me to the test,
and delivered me unto Him,
with revived peace and rest.
I had searched for so long,
for a fulfilling place,
where I would feel right at home
to take in all of God's grace.
Where true feelings I can share,
and feel no more alone.
With good friends and my "new family,"
I know I've found His home.
For alone is a place where people can be,
where you turn and then gaze all around.
No one do you see through your eyes or your heart,
and it makes you feel, Oh so down.
But now the door is open
and He has led me in.
To the place I had always wanted to be,
where I am absolved of all my sin.
Now let this be a testimony
of how God works within us.
Hill Country Chapel is my "New Family,"
and of this I will discuss.
In knowing how I got here,
well now, that in itself is a story.
I hired a young lady who spread God's love,
who again shared with me Christ's Glory!
I had always been a Christian
and knew of all Christ Love!
But there was something missing in my life,
and I knew it was from above.
I was brought to my sweet Jesus Christ
so many years ago.
When I lost my Sis, so suddenly,
and did not know where to go.
I knew that she did not know Christ,
but that was not her will.
For she was born, both blind and deaf,
but God would love her still.
The loss I felt so long ago,
seems like only yesterday.
But with Christ as my salvation.
I know someday, with her again I'll play.
I don't know when it started,
or how it came about,
but the Herrera's friendship was something,
I did not want to live without!
And they re-lead me to His Love,
by their actions, words and deeds.
And if it (the church) was reflective of their beliefs,
then, I thought, it sure would fit my needs.
Through their devoted family love,
and the new friendships that I have.
I have a new found peace with Christ,
that I have never had!
He knows the paths I've taken,
and the ones still left to walk.
In Glory He will raise me up,
so we can have our talk!
The thing that's most intriguing
is that God has always known.
Of how I'll meet my Maker,
to stand beside Him on His Throne!
