I don't understand

You say "just friends for now"
and all i can think of is "how"
i don't understand what is going on
and you expect me to play along
i don't get why you want that
our relationship never works when its like that
i want to be more
and you say you need to be sure
i don't understand why this is happening to us
but this is not our usual 'us'
you still call me everyday
but i feel like a toy for play
because your playing with my feelings for you
and there's really nothing i can do
i just want it to be like before
but you don't seem to want my anymore
you said we need to start over
right now my heart feels like its shattered all over
you say you still love me
but you don't show it for me to see
i honestly don't understand
and all i want is to hold your hand
but i have to remember i can't
