Time After Time

Why do you always pick on me?
Why can't you just leave me, and let me be?
Time after time, Lie after lie,
Brings another tear to my eye.

Every day im too scared,
To get out of bed,
Because I don’t know what lies in store,
Behind those dreaded closed doors,

You laugh and giggle staring at me,
What do you truly see?
Do you see a girl who is pretty and makes you jealous?
Or do you see a girl you find can pick on just because your feeling rebellious?

A new rumour forms, you suddenly assume its me whose spread it,
You try to get me to confess, but I won’t admit.
Why should I admit to something what I haven’t done?
Just so you can call me all the names under the sun?

When something bad happens, every time you think its me,
Why cant you accuse some-one else and let me be free?
The lights go out, you start chanting horrid words,
To me and the poor little nerds.

You make me go home and hide,
Wondering if its me whose nasty on the outside and inside,
Why should I cry tears because of the things you've said?
Why should I wish I was dead?
