Afraid

I can not tell you,
how much I care.
My love for you,
I fear to bare.

My inner feelings,
I keep hidden away.
And though it pains me so,
that is the way it must stay.

The pain that I feel,
everytime I must lie.
Makes me wish I could hide,
and just curl up and die.

For though I wish,
that I could just come out and say it.
I fear what might happen,
should my love I admitt

So here I am now,
my mind lost and frayed.
All because of the fact,
that I'm just... to afraid.
