Knowing what to do, lost on how to get there..

I know just what i want
when it comes to me and you
but just how to go about it
i haven't got a clue.
for days i've sat and thought
of ways to bring this up,
but something always stops me
and i'm not too sure just what.
i just can't help but think
of the way things could have been
if i hadn't let you go
and let someone else back in.
it never seems to fail
that when i think of you
i think of how things were,
and once more i feel blue.
i've tried to move on
and come just oh so close
and each of the few times
thats when i miss you most.

i know just what i want,
when it comes to me and you,
but just how to go about it
