Fear of Flying.

by Jenni Marie   Sep 26, 2006

She stared around the areoplane
and pressed her face against the window pane.
She was off on her holiday
she didn't want to fly but had been told she'd be okay.

She felt the plane take off
Felt it reach high in the sky
She pressed her lips together
and willed herself not to cry.

She settled back in her seat
and felt her hearts fast rhythm, the beat
Just when she thought everything would be okay
she heard the cries of May day may day!'

Then she realized the pilot had lost control
and fear sliced through her soul
the plane twisted and jerked
other passengers went berserk.

And as the plane headed straight down below
and somebody flung open the emergency exit door
she remembered why she had a fear of flying
it was because she was so scared of dying.
