And she lays there
broken and ripped at the seems
waiting for the perfect stranger
to scrape her off the ground
crying there till someone has the heart to ask whats wrong
and looses it the moment she sees it in your eyes that you see beyond the scars and mistakes
and you do care after all to not let this girl go to waste
to help her up and tell her shes beautiful, to care for her and tell her shes perfect, to see her for who she is and not just a messed up pretty face, but this is to good to be true
to perfect for words and the moment she opens her eyes and sees nothing after a wonderful broken dream she cant help but to turn up the music, close the blinds, and put the pillow over her face just so nobody not even her can hear her scream the words that she wants to hear
the words that make it seem good again the words that make you real so she can breath again the words that make it right
then she squeezes the pillow tight pretending that its you and closes her eyes loosing her breath in that make believe kiss and floats off to heaven happy again
sewed up at the seems
faded scars
and where that beautiful broken dream isn't just make believe
