A Ship with a Hole

by Jamin Huchingson   Sep 26, 2006

A ship with a hole
At sea with no soul
The shell battered and bruised
From the coursed it's cruised

Waiting to go down
For my ship to drown
As I look at what once
Was paint that shinned, is now stripped
The sails frayed and ripped

A ship with no soul
At sea with a hole
The rudder corroded
By the salt of the sea
From wrestling the waves within me

My hull is broken and depleted
From the many battles
Winning; to being defeated

A ship with a hole
A sea with no soul
Travels the sea
Wrestling the waves within me
