The icy feel of the pelting rain,
Flashes of lightning across the sky.
The dark clouds bellow and swirl,
My path is unknown, laid down before me.
The wind blows with all its might,
Shielding my eyes I push slowly on.
Darkness, Fear and Pain...
The storm is becoming much more powerful,
As the seconds roll by and the sand falls; a never-ending time.
Lightning strikes the ground, so close.
Walking alone in a storm that covers the entire Earth,
I have no idea of what I'm trekking towards,
Just the hope of finding peace keeps me going.
Darkness, Fear and Pain...
Still no other life to be found,
Been walking since I can remember.
I just want to find home,
The storm plagues both the World and my soul.
I need a place to rest!
O God, why have you forsaken my World?
Why has this happened to everything that was free?
Why will this storm not stop?
