Rescuer in love

by Joe Eijyuu   Sep 28, 2006

Sending my rescue boat out
To the deepest sea of your tears
Trying hardest to find you in the darkened sea
Aided by the total silence of dazzling stars
Your cries of help are heard in this immense solitude
Finally North Star pinpoints your lone location

Plucking the sodden you out
From crying sea of recent years
Dryness coming back on you, I can surely see
Helped by the warmest morning sun's rays
Slowly on your cheeks your usual colour has returned
When the rainbows' end touched on our flotation

No more your life is shut out
As you are on my land of flowers
Now your tears are that of delight and ecstasy
Prompted by the blithe dancing of mayflies
Yes, dreams of yours and mine have finally intertwined
Even the dawn Venus is winking at our flirtation.
