Great poem. it shows such emotion all the way through. wonderfully stated.

"You were gone too soon
You're too far away"

It's so painful that i can relate to these words in such a way i've never felt before.
You were right in your comment, it doesn't matter about the flow or grammer, it's the heart that went into it that counts.
