Walked straight by!

I stand up and look around
To see them striving on the ground
I think about doing wrong
But then I realise its been to long
My so called friends who do not care
Yet only now they need me there
But in the past the left me to die
They cause me such an endless cry
But do they really think I’ll help
I look around, I hear them yelp
They look me straight in the eye
I just walk on, leave them to die
