Why?

Why do people call others names,
and play stupid mind games?
Why do they put others down,
and talk about their 'friends' when they're not around?

Why do they bully the outcasts,
and drive them to tears so fast?
Do they want everyone to be the same?
Each identity must be retained.

For we are all special
In our different ways
and everyone is entitled
to have their own opinion, and their own say.

So stop hurting people
and just let them be
everyone is entitled
to live their own life free.

    I thought it was good. by using small words like of, the, and, or etc...you can improve the rhythm of the poem. A helpful hint! Jpoet*
