Broken Hearts Never Heal

Unbearable pain buried
Beneath fake smiles
Unshed tears taunting
My once strong eyes

Memories of you
Constantly haunt my dreams
And when reality hits,
Nothing is what it seems

I watched you fall for her,
As I have fallen for you
Taking away everything
I ever loved or knew

It doesn't matter what is real
All that matters is how you feel
But the problem within lies here,
Some broken hearts never heal
