Of The Fallen

by pank   Sep 30, 2006

Come, fallen angel,
The seasons change.
Cold seeping into light,
So deranged, on broken wings
Shadowed with spite
Spare me the pain, dark angel.
Take me away, dark angel,
From Misery's past.
Take away the cold, the sight of skeleton trees
To the Dance of Devils, I surrender.
I drown in flooding seas,
Of flames I remember,
A time where warmth seethes,
A time where I could breathe.
Come, break me, fallen angel.
Make me feel,
What I have lost.
Tend to these wounds that won't heal,
Watch my tears frost,
As you realize what you've done.
Of the Fallen.
