Did you give up self praise
to praise the creator of self

did you pray for all you wanted
or did you pray for someone else

did you help your cause today
or to your brother a sacrifice

do you think you did enough
to make the situation suffice

how many kids did you yell at
regardless of the backlash

even though they got nasty
did you say "this to shall pass"

how many times did you eat today
or fed one truly in need

how many holes on your belt
did you add due to your own greed

did you take time to listen
to problems that weren't yours

or did you talk about how grand it was
to have a s&m picnic outdoors

if you can't give your time to help someone up
then why should God even care
since you ask for blessings and not luck
does God even feel your despair.
