She Never Grew Old.

by Bloody Raven   Oct 1, 2006

The blade so sharp glides gently across her wrists
The blood runs cold and she knows
all of his lies unfold.
All those evil lies he told.

The blood pours forth from her veins
her heart beat quickens
the thick red liquid glistens
now shes not afraid

soon it will be over
soon to her maker
she will be delivered

shes not afraid, this is the way
her red exit sign shines brightly in the dark.
she begins to grow cold
she never grew old.

----------------------------------------

He came home late
he was filled with hate.
he screams her name
silence filled his ear

he begins to look for her
he turns on the light
shes pale, ghost white.
the cats eyes shine bright

her eyes are open
staring at him, seeing nothing.
once so lively now so dim
he wonders what happened to them

there was no note
just this poem
all they know is she never grew old.

Slowly he sheds a tear
they all live in fear
her mother wont go near
their end is near
