Darkness Creeps Over

by xTheEcstasyOfSuicidex   Oct 1, 2006

Darkness creeps over the shadowed lands,
As murderous killer shrieks his demands,
A child cries out in saddening dismay,
As he begs the man to let him stay.
The treacherous killer laughs with joy,
"You're not going anywhere, little boy."
The stars scream out of the darkening tale,
When the Young boy started to yell.

Breaking each bone with his hands,
You can hear the heartless man across the lands.
"To be saved!" The boy screams,
"You're taking away all my dreams!"
The man just cackled and shook his head,
"This is where my heart was lead."

A knife in hand, the murder begins,
This little boy's life he would take to the end.
Dying with pain deep in his eyes so bright,
The boy screams, "This isn't right!"
Placing the remains of the boy's disassembled body,
The man looked around with an expression of being haughty.

Putting a note on the bag that reads,
"You should have seen how much he bleeds,
It was a delight to hear his last thought,
And how wonderful it is that he fought!"
Leaving the present on the door step,
So the parents to find; and they wept.
As darkness creeps over the lands,
When he laughs at his final command.

I'm in awe. Another superb poem. Only part that didn't seem to flow to well whe i was reading it was
[The stars scream out of the darkening tale,
When the Young boy started to yell.]
The second line didn't seem long enough for the flow to be constant. But it was a great poem and I loved it. =]
