Hey Mum (Part 2)

by manic moments   Oct 1, 2006

Hey Mum
Why is it so cold?
Is it your cold heart getting to me beyond my grave?
Or is this my own undoing fold?

Hey Mum
As I pressed that gun to my head
I knew that nothing would have stopped me
From eating this lead

Hey Mum
Did you understand why?
Was it enough for you
That you made your daughter cry?

Hey Mum
When I had it sitting right in front of my face
And I was about to pull the trigger
I kept hoping for that last grace

Hey Mum
I kept hoping you would save me
I sat there with it against my head
But you never could see

Hey Mum
The triggers pulled, the blood spilled
Don't you worry anymore mum
I was already killed

Hey Mum
I'm laying here on the bed
And you know what?
This was all in my head

-_-_- For my mum -_-_-
