Hello I Am Depression

Hello i am Depression
I am written in your wrist
You carved me with a blade
Whilst clenching your left fist

You slowly etched my name
And watch the blood seep through
Seep through the incisions made
The incisions made by you

The incisions in your wrist
The incisions in your thigh
These decisions left you breathless
Left you wondering why?

But now your taking pills
Down your throat they go
One, Two, Three, Four
Your depression slowly grows

Your self esteem is crushed
Your innocence stolen away
Your parents lost all faith in you
Your left with nothing to say

You go into your room
And silently take your blade
You cut away your pain
You end your deadly crusade

You finally cut so deep
And you give into the pain
You can not stop the bleeding
And you've ended your cruel reign

Covered in black blood
Your lying on the floor
My job here is finished
I walk out through the door...
