I Felt Him Walk Away

I felt rejected, I felt hurt,
I felt so empty at my worst
I felt lost in between time
It was my fault; I crossed the line

I felt secluded, I felt pain
I felt so horrible, the same
I felt that life was at its end
With not a single caring friend

I felt shame and insecure
I felt exposed and so impure
I felt sorrow- lost my pride
With insincerity inside

I felt hopeless, I felt down
My smile melted to a frown
I felt like crying in dismay
The night my lover walked away

    This is really good. You can totally sense how confused, sad, shamed, etc. the narrator is. I like that you waited until the end to explain why you were feeling that way. It added a little something suprise.
