Darkness

by Lady Nik   Oct 1, 2006

I see what you feel I know what you see. You believe that tomorrow is the end of today. That I'm not here to stay. But I will always remain in your darkness, with your photograph in my hands. Buried in too many truths, to understand. The lies they sneaked in. But It's okay because we always forget and forgive.
Darkness

I feel what you fear. I see what you regret. You are too naive to see that this wasn't meant. That angels aren't always sent, to dry our tears. But they are still here in our darkness, with our mistakes. Trying to find some way for us to succeed. When we have failed so many times that we have become failure it's self. But it's okay because we always try to improve.
Darkness

I fear what you believe. I regret what you remember. You wrap your past around your neck, and you let it turn you blue. You refuse to listen to the truth. That this friendship is a rope we are holding on to. And if you let go, we will both fall. and I can't promise the ground will be there to pick us up. But there will be that little piece of darkness, waiting to solve the puzzle. But it's okay that we are always missing a piece.
Darkness

I believe what you know. I remember what you lost. You forgot to thank dear darkness for giving you a place to belong. Even when you though you were alone, it was always there. Telling you to let go of your suffocating past, and to breath in to the present. Even if you lost your dreams, you are still here and that's all that matters. But it's okay to live in darkness.

This is really, really good. It's so poetic, but it feels like it's a letter you're writing to someone.

Every part is just so perfect, I love it.
