Pregnant At Fourteen

by Sarina "RI"   Oct 1, 2006

Honey:
I know we were planning to marry, but darling that can't be.
For the baby I'm carrying, I'll never live to see.
I'm too young for a baby, Doctor says it's true.
I still want to have it.
It's a token of my love to you.
I'll never believe in abortion though I've tried to see the light. Doc says it's me or the baby, within the next ten nights.
If I abort the baby, I'll live to be your wife.
But actually killing the baby, I can't live that kind of life.
If the baby is born I'll die at its birth.
But you'll have a part to care and to nurse.
Darling, I've decided it's time for me to go.
I've had fourteen good years, but now it's the baby's turn to show.
I'm scared to death, I can't lie, just hold me once more before I die. Last I heard it was a girl, the sound of her cry was the greatest thrill.
Darling please be careful, now and in between, don't let our little girl be pregnant at fourteen.
