What is love ???(my definition )

You see the dictionaries
definition of the word "love"
is far different than mine
you see the dictionary says
that love is an intense affectionate concern for another person ....
but i don't think this is anywhere
close to true

because i believe that in order to
love someone you've got to lose
a part of yourself and thats not necessarily a bad thing
you see sometimes losing a part
of yourself could be a very good
thing it could be giving up something that's bad for you for the other person
or it could mean waiting to have sex
until your married because it's what
your partner believes in

sometimes you can tell when you really love someone when you can be doing something totally different but you still find yourself thinking about them no matter what and when your together and you look into that one persons eyes you realize that you never want to be anywhere else

you see my definition of love
lies in what i see all around me
in my grandparents, in me , just by the little things like calling to
tell the one you love when your on your way home so they won't worry even though you know you don't
have to....

loving someone means you have to take that shield down so you can let the one that loves you in so they can teach you how to love... its all in a learning process ... a lifelong learning process called .... love!!!:)
