You're Not With Me

It's so hard to fall asleep,
When I just keep thinking about you.
It's so hard to wake up,
When I know I'm not with you.

I want you in my arms,
Want you to say you care,
Tell me that you love me,
And never leave.

But you're not mine,
You left me long ago.
Pushed me out of your life,
And didn't even care.

You left me lonely,
Ripped apart,
Blackened eyes,
And a broken heart.

    Aw.. this is such a sad and heartfelt poem. You did such a great job on this! The last stanza was my favorite. It really brought the whole poem together and gave it a nice, sad ending. But you did a great job on this. I loved it! 5/5 Keep it up!
