Labeled and Priced

by Rose   Oct 2, 2006

Got to school one day
eyes gazed upon me
entering the halls of hate and despair
Preps rolled their eyes
Jocks punched their palms
Nerds fixed their glasses
Punks leaned against the lockers
Emo's stood with their look of depression
I kept on walking

Labeled and Priced
We're like items placed on the shelf
Some worth more than others
Some just waits for whatever happens
I don't wanna be labeled
I know I shouldn't be priced

People all around us
just trying to fit in
they just end up changing the real person
hiding behind their masks
instead of revealing their true selves
as to who they are

This is really good. It's pretty sad the way high (or middle) school goes. And pathetic... anyways, you should write more soon. It's very good and your other poem was too.
