Searching for a Friend

by Levi   Oct 2, 2006

On the highest mountain peak I stand,
Looking over the great, vast land.
Searching for a dear and beloved friend,
I will keep on looking until the very end.

We went our separate ways that day,
I only wish that she'd have stayed.
I've been traveling for countless moons,
I am hoping that I will find her soon.

Every part of me is sore and worn,
My clothes and boots are even torn.
Making my way across the desert sands,
And slowly trekking the fierce lands.

Calling out your name for a thousandth time,
Will you ever return with your jingling chime?
Never going to give in, till I find you my friend.
I will keep on looking until the very end...
