Come Dance with the Night

~* Come Dance with the Night ~*
~*~* A Halloween Poem ~*~*

Night owl hoots, hidden in the darkest tree
shadows dance, far as the eye can see
shades lurking in corners, crawling on walls
come dance with the the night, a voice calls

Tree shrubs quiver in a frigid air
naked tree limbs crackle, beware
little ghosts roam the streets tonight
while, a witch stirs her brew of fright

Werewolves howl to a silver moon
zombies march to an eerie tune
spider-man hides under Autumn leaves
spinning a web to catch masked thieves

Tiny bodies shiver with spooky chills
spiders creep on haunted house sills
streets cover over with a pea soup fog
as a princess kisses a croaking frog

Costumes, in search of trick-or-treats
vampires sinking teeth into candy sweets
candy bags loaded with sugar coated treasure
kiddies happy with this Halloween's, pleasure

I blame you and your talent Luanne! How could you =P
I'm kidding, you're too lovely for me to blame.
I'll blame the year for flying by too fast, i can't believe 2006 is gone already O_O
A merry christmas to you to Lu!
