Love's Last Loss

by Danielle   Oct 2, 2006

We were close friends, since the days of creation.
Feelings thrown inside from new relations,
As the forest grows, the trees lengthen
And the old teddy bear doesnt get a mention.

We were like Bonnie and Clyde, side by side,
As the sheets raise relating with early morning rise.
Feet entwined, we were together as one mind,
And the old teddy bear gets left behind.

As we seperate like the dew dripping from the grass,
Theres no need to celebrate with the finest wine glass.
Now were apart, two minds, two hearts, one loss.
As i stick to the old teddy like Jesus on the cross.

Lovers meet again for one last time,
As my heart beats for one last line,
He has no knowledge its our final goodbye,
As the teddy bear lays grieving where i lie.
