Parting is all we know of heaven, and all we need of hell

by leah j   Oct 2, 2006

Since you walked out on me
i feel i no longer exist
looking towards the future
theres only a thick grey mist.

love letters left in a pile
some ive read and re-read
bittersweet memories twirling
round and round in my head.

remnants of your presence
seems to be everywere,
shaving cream in the bathroom
a sock you left on a stair.

a photo of you in a frame
a smile on your handsome face
in this house there was love
now its a lonely place

with tears i look back and recall
the day that you walked away
gone are the sweet tomorrows
now am lost in our yesterdays.
