What a lonly life

by dion   Oct 3, 2006

Holding on, to something hes held so tight, left this boy awake, every lonely night.
he tried to hide it with all his might,
but he realized it made the pain harder to fight.

ever day he fought this battle
but he never thought of throwing in the towel.
he had a mind like the wise, and sight like an owl
but he leaves out words, from capital to vowel.

all the letters he wrote, he never sent
for his heart was to soar and bent.
he never wanted the embarrassment
fro it could be the biggest punishment.

he held on to all that he had
pictures and notes, all in a paper bag,
a life lived, unhappy and sad.
but hell never forget all the times they had.
